Greengris is an artificial greenery brand built on something pretty simple: we make the plants ourselves, so we know exactly what goes into them.
Where It Started
Greengris is the online brand of Jiangsu Greengris Crafts Co., Ltd., a manufacturer founded in April 2021 and based in Jiangsu, China. We didn't start out as a typical online shop — we started as a factory floor, focused specifically on injection-molded artificial plants. That manufacturing background is still the foundation of everything we sell today.
Who's Behind Greengris
Our team came together around a shared interest in production and design — people who understood injection molding, material science, and what it actually takes to make a fake leaf look and feel like a real one. Over the past several years, that group has grown into a team of more than 50 people across R&D, product design, and materials development, working alongside a manufacturing floor equipped with more than 40 dedicated injection molding machines.
We've also built out our physical footprint along the way: a 1,000-square-meter R&D center where new designs get developed and tested, and a 5,000-square-meter production facility and workshop where those designs actually get made. New product lines come out of that space every year, shaped by ongoing research into materials, molding techniques, and plant design.
Why We Started Selling Directly
For a long time, our factory produced artificial plants that went through other retailers before reaching an actual customer. At some point, it made sense to ask: why not offer that same product directly, without extra steps in between? That question is basically why Greengris exists as an online store — it's our way of putting what we make directly into the hands of the people who'll actually use it, backed by the same manufacturing process we've built our business around.
What We're Going For
We're not trying to be everything to everyone. Our focus stays narrow and specific: artificial greenery, made through a process we understand from the ground up, backed by a team that keeps working on how to make it look better and hold up longer. We'd rather be straightforward about what a piece is made of and how it's produced than lean on vague marketing language to describe it.
